Up next for the Class of 2019 is Lindsey!
Lindsey attends Elk River High School and is a member of the Class of 2019. She describes herself as outgoing, friendly and hard-working. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. She loves working and being around little kids so she spends a lot of time with her niece!
We decided on downtown Anoka for Lindsey’s shoot, because it is such a versatile location. It is a “3 locations in 1” location for seniors. In Lindsey’s words:
We chose Downtown Anoka because the scenery is amazing and there are so many places to go that are walking distance so you get different looks to chose from. The park is right on the Rum River, and has a lot of great nature scenery for backdrops.
Lindsey brought a sign that said “I’m done 2019”. She chose to bring this prop because it’s a huge achievement for her to be graduating high school. It’s her last year of mandatory school, and it represents that she feels accomplished. We started at the park near the Chamber of Commerce, along the Rum River. The fall color was starting to pop and made for some amazing photos!
We then headed to the downtown area and Rum River dam for some urban shots. I absolutely loved Lindsey’s outfits for her session. The purple color was a spectacular choice! Lindsey wanted a more natural look for her session and I believe she nailed it!
What’s one piece of advice Lindsey has for other seniors getting their picture taken?
“Go for a natural look, don’t dress up too much, but don’t under-dress either. Dress for the occasion and be yourself!”
Our last spot was also in Anoka, at the feed store and along a park trail. It threw in a little bit of country into Lindsey’s session.
Lindsey's advice for those preparing for their senior session?
"Pick out outfits that go according to the weather and make sure you have everything the day before, so you are not rushing the orning "or day of. Go with a natural look so you look like yourself!“
I also asked Lindsey how her overall senior photo experience was.
“My overall senior photo experience was amazing! My photos turned out so good and I love them all! Sheila and Baylee had so many good ideas and they were very helpful through the whole process!”
We love to hear that! We always strive to make your senior session fun and amazing!
Lindsey plans to attend Anoka Ramsey Community College and pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
Good luck in all you do, Lindsey! I know you will succeed in reaching your goals!
